About Diversity

Diversity are a dance group from the East London / Essex area. They formed in 2007, and quickly went on to win the UK dance championships.

In 2009 they entered Britains Got Talent, and blew the judges away with their dynamic and creative dance moves. The public voted them their Britains Got Talent winners, and the group have now gone on to perform all over the world.

  • TV shows including Ashley Banjo's Secret Street Crew and Big Town Dance
  • An ITV special called 'Diversity Live' which aired in January 2015
  • Judging and performing on Got To Dance
  • Appearing on China's Got Talent
  • They have performed to thousands at festivals across the country
  • Performing on a whole host of TV shows including Red or Black, Born to Shine, Saturday Night Takeaway, Britains Got Talent and many more...
  • In 2016 Ashley was asked to put together a massive 10 minute routine featuring past acts from Britains Got Talent for the shows 10 year anniversary.
  • Ashley and Alexander Armstrong put together a group of celebrities in 2017 to do the Full Monty at the London Palladium to raise awareness of mens prostate and testicular cancer.
  • In 2017 Diversity appeared in their first ever panto - Dick Whittington at the London Palladium. They're back this year for Aladdin in Southend.
  • 2018 saw Diversity create their first circus tour called 'Ignite'. The show featured a mix of street dance, circus acts and magic that wowed audiences across the country.

The group is made up of 8 members: Ashley Banjo, Jordan Banjo, Sam Craske, Mitchell Craske, Perri Kiely, Warren Russell, Terry Smith and Nathan Ramsay.


Diversity Juniors (DVJ) are a junior version of the original dance group Diversity. The group is made up of youngsters who attend the Dancework Studio in Dagenham. In 2018 they appeared on Britain's Got Talent and made it all the way to the final.

The group is made up of the following members: Theo McKenzie Hayton, Isaac Getachew, Shante and Jordan Samuel, Maisy Flaxton, Adam McKop, Isaac Akinyemi, Josh Lock, Teisha Peters and Ben Winchcombe.
